In addition to the above items, your teachers will ask you to acquire other specific materials for each class.  ART courses have nominal materials fees that are billed with tuition.  From these funds we purchase bulk materials like paper rolls and towels, soap and clean up supplies and other items (like pounds of glue sticks) to be used by students in the specific courses.

All other Foundations courses will have a required materials list specific to that course and instructor. If uncertain, contact the instructor via email to find out details.

To get supplies locally here are some transportation possibilities:

Getting around:

Ohio University Campus Area Transit Service or “CATS”!  FREE campus transportation -  great for those cold winter days!!

The SAFE-T Patrol Team is a free service offering students, staff and visitors a walking escort to any location on campus or in close proximity to the campus

ATHENS TRANSIT -  local bus service – bus fare = $1.50

Look for the round, red ACT sign to know where buses regularly stop.  If a stop is not nearby, a rider may "hail" the bus as long as it is able to pull off in a convenient spot.  When you board the bus, the driver will ask you destination.  You do not need to ring a bell to signal your stop.
